Bookings taken for parties of any size, please ring 01726 812255

Bookings

Please note if you can’t find a table online give us a call on 01726 812255 as we do hold some tables back and we can hopefully slot you in.

We also have 8 large outside tables that we don’t take bookings for, it’s a case of rock up and grab a table in the sun or wait with a glass of vino on the beach until one is available. We have large umbrellas and blankets on the slipway in case the weather takes a turn.

Call us if you would like to book a specific table ie: close to a window or it’s a special occasion – We love celebrations !

If you are booking for over 6 guests please contact us so we can coordinate tables and fit you in.
Tables are only available for 1.5 – 2hrs maximum ( depending on guest numbers) and a £10 fee per person is charged for no shows. Please do give us 24 hours notice as there will be someone waiting to fill that table.

About On The Beach

This once RNLI lifeboat station was built 162 years ago, being restored sympathetically by Sam and Emma in 2009 with help from the local lifeboat men including Sam who was a volunteer for 10 years

Although we don’t do anything as dramatic as save lives anymore, we can certainly still rescue a few souls.

With it’s custom-built wood burning pizza oven churning out artisan slices of heaven, combined with the exceptional fresh fish that is landed by the “Emperor” our fishing day boat, a plethora of fresh delicacies arrive at the door each day. Shellfish arrives straight from St Austell Bay, lobsters, mussels and scallops are abundant.

Where else would you chose to be watching the sunset over the ocean sipping an Aperol whilst listening to Cafe del Mar. Think the Cotton Club done the Cornish Riviera way.

An open kitchen allows you to see all the action of head Chef Adam Nolan crafting away with our delivered fresh catch, whilst floor to ceiling windows bring the outside in during the cold winter months, experienced first hand to be fully appreciated.

So if any of this sounds appealing and let’s be honest it all does then follow the signs from Par. We are tucked away down a Cornish lane you’ll find Sam’s on The Beach, a great place to escape to – whatever the weather.

We have been shortlisted for the What’s on Cornwall Awards 2015. The lovely people of Cornwall have nominated us for this award. If you love a great burger, share the news with your friends and family and pop a tick in the Sam’s Fowey Box!…… Thank you

For the past 28 years Sam’s has been synonymous with the Samburger. We’ve remained faithful to the original recipe all this time, but now over our four permanent venues across the county and out on the road with Sam’s Vans we have added to the selection available with several incarnations and even a few veggie options!

We here at Sam’s are proud of our heritage and and with our nomination for the Best Burger in Cornwall Award we have support in our belief that for a quality beef burger, chicken burger, fish burger or …

James Strawbridge wrote an article on Sam’s for Cornwall Life magazine:

Burgers and chips or pizza used to conjure up images of poor quality junk food and greasy-spoons, but over the years there has been a growing scene for fast-food lovers with a conscience. I count myself as a major fan of the genre – local produce and seasonal ingredients served up with style, fries and no frills – indulgent comfort food with a strong American influence. This is why I admire Mr Sam Sixton – for giving me cheeseburgers to die for, pizza that leaves you guilt-free and now pop-up menus with a host of great food to enjoy on the beach – all with a killer soundtrack…
